Without a backlog, the loudest voice decides each week; after 5 weeks, 30 instructions are started and none finished. The backlog is your contract document — and your sales tool: when the plant manager asks "what are you actually doing?", you open ONE page.

Get 5–8 candidates into the table (30 min)

ONE named person per entry (20 min)
Not "the shift". Plus one backlog lead who keeps the whole thing in view.
Plan how to inform the team (15 min)
