Phase 3 · Module 2 · Scaling with Leverage

Wk 9 · 90-min workshop + ~6 hrs (wk 9–10)

🎓 PHASE 3 · MODULE 2
One instruction, created once: reachable via QR, available in 3 languages, visible everywhere, anchored in AR. Use the leverage — or work four times harder.
create, 4× impact
1–2
machines as AR pilot
3–5
posters to start
☑️ The workshop — 90 min, 5 steps
QR-code governance (25 min)
Code DIRECTLY on the machine/control panel (not 5 m away on a wall). Who attaches it, who maintains the location list, what happens on device swap?
Go multilingual (15 min)
Bring your top instructions into your team's languages via auto-translation — a native speaker in the plant gives them a quick check before publishing.
Now it gets futuristic: AR & AI glasses (25 min)
From here the next level pays off: AR instructions shine on large machines with spatial orientation — arrows guide you in 3D to the right spot. AI glasses free up your hands in the field. Start with 1–2 machines where it truly shines — for stationary tasks, the QR code stays champion.
Content integration (15 min)
Bring instructions to where the work happens: QR codes on the machine, posters in context, booklets for audits — and embedded via link/iFrame into your intranet, LMS or Teams.
Finally: who does what by wk 10? (10 min)
One task per item with a name and a date — otherwise it stays a nice workshop.
☑️ Homework wk 9–10 (~6 hrs)
QR list: everything existing + plan for new ones
Activate auto-translation for 3–5 top instructions
Native speaker checks them
AR pilot on 1–2 machines (where relevant)
Print and mount the first 3–5 posters
For phase 4: start the ROI calculation
⚠️
The 3 killers
  • QR codes without a location list — after 6 months, half lead nowhere.
  • Publishing unchecked translations — technically correct can mislead on the shop floor.
  • AR everywhere at once — start where it truly shines and let the results speak.

Drill question
The plant manager says: "AR sounds cool — let's do ALL instructions in AR." What do you say?
