My First Instruction & Basics
Start small, test immediately, learn fast.
🚀 GETTING STARTED
Start with something simple — the coffee machine. Record, generate the QR code, stick it on, test. Small effort, big impact.
The best entry point is a simple process everyone knows. You learn the mechanics without getting tangled in the content.
🧭
Creating your first instruction
1
Choose a process
Something simple, e.g. "making coffee" or a short setup step.
2
Record
One step = one clip. 3-second videos work best.
3
Generate the QR code
GIRI automatically creates a QR code pointing to your instruction.
4
Place it
Print the QR code and attach it to the object/machine.
5
Test
Have 1–2 colleagues run through it at the point of use — you will immediately see where it sticks.
💡
Pro tip for your first recordings
Use photos & short videos. One action per clip — 3-second videos are ideal. Perfection is not the goal; clarity is.
ℹ️
Instruction getting longer?
No problem: create
chapters. Instead of 25 steps in a row, structure into "Preparation", "Execution", "Wrap-up" — colleagues jump straight to the right part.

⚠️
Important for the start: no AR yet
Your first instructions are
short video clips — nothing more. AR is powerful but complex; it comes later (Bootcamp phase 3) where it truly pays off. Starting with AR costs you the quick first win.
